Breaking News! PTO Family Skate Night Postponed…

Mother Nature has offered up some crazy weather of late, especially for January. As a result, we will be postponing the PTO Family Skate Night to Sunday, January 29th from 5:30 – 8pm.

Volunteers who offered to donate crock pots of chilli, please drop off your chilli to the Ball Field by 5PM.  Volunteers STILL NEEDED to help with on-ice activities.

The parking lot at the Town Rink is rather muddy due to the recent rain and warm temperatures, so if at all possible, you are strongly encouraged to park up at RMMS and walk up to the rink.

Please contact Kerri_Goolsby@hotmail.com with any questions. Thank you!

Family Skate Night!

The first PTO Sponsored Family Skate Night is scheduled for Saturday January 28, 2012 at the Town Rink from 6:30-9:00pm.

Please join us for a fun filled evening of music and activities and consider volunteering your time (or a crock pot of your yummiest chilli).  We are looking for people to help supervise on ice activities like the conga, limbo and red light/green light and are also soliciting people to donate crock pots of chili to help chase away the cold. The PTO will also be selling hot cocoa and water.

Our events can only be successful (and continue) due to the generous help of our volunteers. So please consider contributing chilli or your time to assist us at the first PTO Family Skate Night by clicking here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AsCydvxKLMBEdHBLTGl4QTFsZEFJRU1OQm5ubjMyZUE#gid=0

Rain Date:  Sunday, January 29th (Time TBD)
Children must have an adult present at all times (no drop off’s) and helmets are strongly encouraged.

Donation Drive – Paypal Link

Last Fall was the first Donation Drive where the PTO requests parents of Brookline elementary students contribute funds in lieu of participating in the more traditional door-to-door sales and it was quite successful.  We’ve decided to offer this option again this year, as it definitely assisted us in meeting our 2010/2011 budget goal and we’re hopeful it will enable us to reach the 2011/2012 goal as well.

We respectfully request a donation of $40 per child. However, we realize that some families may not be able to donate a sum that covers $40 for each of their children, so we greatly appreciate whatever each family can contribute.

You can also visit the FUNDRAISING page.
